Masjid Noor-Ul-Huda, under the Management of the Board of Officers and the guidance from our current Imam Hafiz Muhammad Bashir, offers the following services:
MNH is accessible for the Five times daily prayers with congregation – every day of the year. The Imam currently resides in the land parcel adjacent to the Masjid thereby making the Masjid very accessible for the five times daily prayers. Insha’Allah, the Imam Home Construction is in progress on Masjid Land in front of the Masjid, Insha’Allah, the Masjid will be open and accessible with a dedicated Imam at all times.
Friday (Jum’ah) Qutbah is delivered primarily by our esteemed Imam or sometimes by guest speakers.
TARAWEEH PRAYERS: (RAMADAN NIGHT PRAYERS):
MNH currently has a dedicated Hafiz Imam who leads the Taraweeh Prayers in Ramadan. The recitation of the entire Holy Quran is completed in the month of Ramadan by our Imam in 20 rakats each night.
DAILY QURAN RECITATION AND HIFZ (QURAN MEMORIZATION) CLASSES FOR KIDS:
MNH has a dedicated Imam who provides the excellent Quran recitation and memorization classes to kids of various ages at times that are convenient to the parents as well as the kids. Our goal is also to develop a dedicated Quran Hifz Program. Currently, classes can be scheduled at the Masjid and also over Skype (Online Classes) for kids of various ages per the following schedule:
Online: 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
In Person: Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): Quran Hifz Class and Quran Recitation Classes from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
WEEKEND ISLAMIC SCHOOL:
MNH Weekend Islamic School is held every Sunday from 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM for 30 weeks. The First Academy of the MNH Weekend Islamic School started in 2009 with around 14 kids. The enrolment in 2012-2013 Academic Year has risen to around 54. The Weekend School Academy begins at least one month after the month of Ramadan each year.
BIMONTHLY LECTURE SERIES:
MNH hosts a bi-monthly Lecture Series program generally from Asr-Maghrib Salaah on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (except in Ramadan) on a variety of religious and social topics. Guest speakers of various professional disciplines and expertise in religion and social topics present brief lectures for the benefit of the community.
MNH Imam and senior members coordinate, host, and attend educational, dawah (preaching), interfaith, and youth programs organized by MNH and various other community organizations.
In addition to the above services, MNH also provides Muslim Marriage services, guidance on funeral services such as preparation/burial of the deceased, family counseling and guidance services as needed, and other services functions prescribed by the Board of Officers and Various Committees as necessary.
